With a rapidly growing population, Houston is a major city, both within the Lone Star state and in the US. It is Texas' largest city and the fourth-largest city in the nation. Unlike other big populous cities with amenities and major industries, Houston is considered to be a very affordable big city in the country.
For these reasons plus the year-round weather conditions, Houston is a great place to pursue an HVAC career. Summers here are intensely hot and winters are cool. It is also common for the city to get rain any month of the year. This means local businesses and residents alike rely on cooling and heating systems to stay comfortable throughout the year.
After graduating from our HVAC School in Texas, you could apply for a job within one of the largest industries in the area, oil and gas. Otherwise, consider trying one of the city’s major universities, such as University of Texas, Baylor College, or Rice University. These schools have multiple campuses and facilities across the city that are in need of regular maintenance.
With a low cost of living and excellent public schools, North Houston is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. While you are here, be sure to check out Space Center Houston or Battleship Texas, the last of the battleships to participate in World War I and II.
