I wanted to change my career path because the retail hours was getting hectic with my children’s schedule so I wanted to come to school to get a career where I could have a fixed schedule.

I chose this school to come here.  It’s right in my area.  It was convenient with my work schedule. It has availability in classes and I was referred.  

What I do now, I’m a sterile processing tech at Ben Taub Hospital.  What we do is we sterilize the instruments; we prep cases for the surgeries.

If a story was told about me I’d want them to know that I am a single mother with three kids and you can go back and achieve your dreams.
