I attended Richmond, Virginia Fortis College. My major was heating, ventilating and air conditioning and refrigeration.

I wanted to get into HVAC because my field needed that as a prerequisite for better pay, better responsibility, better positions.

What I enjoy most is the troubleshooting and the traveling and that I am not sitting in front of a desk all day.

I would say if you like to work with your hands, if you don’t mind getting dirty, if you like to work with tools, then this is the field for you.
