I wanted to continue my education when my children’s father passed away and I had to become the breadwinner. I always wanted to do medical administration, specifically medical billing and coding – ever since I was in high school.

It was a struggle to participate in the program; I took the bus every day to get here but had a lot of support from family, friends and instructors at FORTIS College. I met a lot of friends in the time I was here.

I’m really glad I came this far and achieved my goal and I am proud to be a FORTIS College alumni and a college graduate. Period!
