ADN Program

Learn Skills Healthcare Employers Need

If you’re ready to take the first step toward becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Fortis can help you get there by providing training for entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Our hands-on program is designed to prepare you with the knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence needed to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.

What does a registered nurse do?

A Registered Nurse (RN) with an ADN degree plays a vital role in patient care. Registered nurses assess and monitor patients, administer medications and monitor reactions and effectiveness, assist with diagnostic tests, educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and post-treatment care to promote recovery and quality of life, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. ADN-prepared RNs provide compassionate, evidence-based care while educating patients and their families about treatment and recovery.
