I came back to school to get a viable skill that was marketable. I went into HVACR because there are so many employment aspects to it that the field of opportunities is wide-ranging. I noticed the college when driving by and stopped in to enquire about the programs that were available. After considering the options and consulting with family, Admissions Advisor William Stone did a fine job in wrestling me into the HVACR program.

My experience with the program was that it started off slow but once past the basic courses, it got really interesting, really fast. The instructors were always supportive and patient. If you needed help in either classroom or lab, they took the time to assist as necessary. I maintained President’s List the entire program and enjoyed the competition with my classmate, Travis Keith – who also ended up on the President’s List. We drove each other, but we also helped each other. Having completed the program, I feel that I accomplished what I set out to do and I look forward to my career in the industry.
