I have two children, a son and daughter; they are both 8 years old. I am also a toast master so I have my bronze certificate.

My Fortis certification made a huge difference in my life now that I am certified because not only is the salary cap released from me, but I also get to travel around. Now that I am certified it is a career.

The impact of me going back to school on my children was very influential. At times my son he would see me doing my homework and he would want to get a book and pretend, even if he finished his homework, he would go get it and sit down with me and go over it.

Since graduation my family are very proud of my achievements and thankful that I took the step to master my trade. They always knew that I was good with my hands, but I always wanted to be a master of something. I didn’t want to be a jack of all trades.
